Davenport and Turner were on Payton's watch. That being said I have no doubt Allen had a lot of input on that since you shouldn't be drafting players that don't fit the defensive coordinators scheme.

Last year at this time the struggling 2-5 Packers traded Rasul Douglass and a 5th round pick to Buffalo for a 3rd. Latt is a better player but also carries a bigger contract. Compensation would be interesting.

But hey, the Packers went 7-3 after the trade and blew out the Cowboys in the playoffs. Maybe that's the Saints destiny

I’d take that trade in a heart beat. But remember a Chiefs third round pick is more like a 4th round pick. Maybe a second for a fourth.
