Even the media thought we were trading up for Lamar. I also have seen some people say he wouldn't have worked here as if we couldn't have used him in a modified Taysom role. He would've been just fine here.
Those people were delusional. There is no way SP couldn’t have made Lamar work, in any fashion
You do need to build the offense around him just like how Baltimore did, but he still would've been good on most competent teams.
That's true NOW, but he was NOT always hurt for his whole career. In fact, the last two years were flukes. This year his hammies hurt which is what his problem was coming out of college and they weren't a problem in the NFL until now.

Okay, now how many games did he miss before the last two years compared to now? And he STILL won DPOY in 2017 with missing a game or however many. He is not always injured. Plenty of players miss a game or two a year, doesn't mean they are always injured.
This is most likely it would be if a trade went down, good call.
Maybe, but since the Chiefs 4th is more like a 5th, I'd want a 3rd that can become a 2nd or even a 1st.
