Teams calling the Saints about Lattimore; Commanders, Chiefs, Chargers, & Ravens are legitimately interested & actively bidding (1 Viewer)

Even the media thought we were trading up for Lamar. I also have seen some people say he wouldn't have worked here as if we couldn't have used him in a modified Taysom role. He would've been just fine here.
He’s the NFLs version of OKC Russell Westbrook.

He’ll put up stats and win in the regular season/awards but come playoff time leaves a lot to be desired.

Didn’t we have enough of that from 2017-20?

I barely noticed he deleted all his saints stuff off ig. Don’t know if it barely happened or he did it awhile ago. Probably means nothing.

I get where you're coming from, but Taysom works so well in his role because he's built like a brick sh**house and can dole out punishment. Lamar is all about evasion and designed runs. I wouldn't trust him on short yardage like I do that grinning madman.

If we do move on, hopefully we get a good pick out the deal given we paid him the option bonus (making it cheap for any team to acquire him this year).

At the time I didn't believe we would draft Lamar, didn't think he was a fit for CSP's offense.....Now? They would have been great together.....instead....Marcus Davenport....ugh.....
I'm still not sold on Jackson winning it all. Mahommes is very much in his head. That said, He'd have been
a much better choice than Davenport.

He probably won't be back next year anyway so take the pick the Chiefs got for Sneed and be done with it.

What really sucks is that we would have paid around the same price for a proven pass rusher with elite talent in Khalil Mack. Instead we went with (yet another) RAS freak who hadn't proven anything against elite O-Linemen and who had only one move when we drafted him.

The biggest factor will be who takes on the most cap cost for Latt. That would involve Latt converting option and restructure money into 2024 guaranteed salary and a team with the cap space for that. Otherwise, we can’t afford a trade with 31M in dead cap.

KC has 2M in cap space and would need to restructure player(s) to take on Latt. If I was an NFCW team looking for a piece to win that division and more, then I’d make space, eat the cap hit, and give up a 3rd no problem. SF, AZ, and SEA all have cap and AZ makes sense from a unit need. WASH also with missing on Forbes and rookie QB.

Thanks. You just made me shiver at the thought of Khalil Mack opposite Cam during Cam's prime. Those two would've had 40 sacks between them.
