Just reading that zevrev just settled a domestic abuse case and has other abuse allegations against him

We kinda already ran that experiment with Graf, and Agassi. I don't think they even encouraged their kids to play tennis though.

Funny, that couple is exactly who I thought of when I typed my post that you quoted.. but I wasn’t sure, couldn’t remember, if they were both super young and dominant at the same time like Swiatek and Alvarez .. i guess they were.. In any case, i get it- iirc their son is a really good baseball player and I think they have a daughter who’s an athlete as well- but totally don’t blame them for encouraging their offspring to pursue other avenues where they can make their own name.. I’m just being selfish with the Iga/Carlos thing .
 
I will be traveling with family Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Please DO use this thread to comment on Wimbledon. I'll be looking at this thread each evening in the hotel prior to going to sleep...looking with the hope that my tennis friends will fill me in on what I am missing.

Honestly I don’t typically start watching til first weekend, plus I don’t get Tennis Channel so not sure how much id be able to watch even if i wanted to the first few days.. but im sure there are other members here who will drop whatever they are doing in order to give you the play by play and keep you updated . :mwink:

@Mr. Blue Sky ...You are correct that it's not all on you my friend. I've just thrown this request out there for anyone to say something brief like: " So and so no name person beat highly ranked So and So!" Just seeking to learn anything notable.
.........and please note that with Wimbledon, the USA audience should mostly tune to ESPN and ESPN 2.
The Tennis channel will mostly have preview shows and post match talk shows...and match highlights.... guest interviews and broadcast matches that are on 12 hours delay or whatever.
