Yeah, Brees did earn it. As far as Brady, I don't like him, but I sure would have liked another Lombardi or two. In addition, Payton would still be here and we would not have had to deal with DA.

I appreciate that, but he is due like $25 million next year and they are not going to pay him that and this team is not in a position to give a long term double digit contract to a soon to be 30 year-old RB. So, he's likely going to be off the team by next year anyway so they might as well get some value for him while they can.
 
I think we should trade him for future assets because his contract isn't tenable for next year anyway. But I don't get the whole doing right by players. They get paid. That is doing right by them. Everything else is about managing the team's present and future. Player loyalty hasn't worked out super well for us and I think we should only do what's best for the team.
 
While it would be nice to see Kamara go to a contender you take the best offer and if that means trading him to Cleveland you do it.
 
I'm not in favor of trading guys "just because". If it will help us improve as a team, then I'm all for it. If it's just because Kamara "deserves better", then meh. All of us deserve better when it comes to this organization.
 
It would be a win/win. AK41 shouldn’t waste his last years here and we can get some return. I doubt he’d bring back a lot in return, we need to build up our resources. Kick the can economics should be done once and for all..
 
I would support this.

And I would imagine DA is probably Ok with it as Alvin has been the most vocal in publicly airing his frustrations. I would think he's pretty close to calling out DA et all directly.

It would be to clear cap and make it better for the team. Kubiak can find another RB as a matter of fact we have a couple on the roster that can carry the load by committee if need be. Kamara is a great talent, but you can see that any RB without a line is not going to be effective and vice versa a great o line will make an average to slightly above average look great. Look what Tampa did to use and Denver for that matter (although a bad d line made those two lines look better than they are) it's why you build it all around the lines but it seems we have a hard time even doing that.
 
I think this requires a front office that isn't in Absolute denial of the situation we're in. With every minute that passes, that I don't see a "DA and/or ML fired" post, my concern grows.

Yes we should be selling everything right now. Everything. Fire sale.
