The continued overreactions by fan base and media is embarrassing (7 Viewers)

The Saints have been told no or been passed on every coaching cycle in our existence.

Joe Brady is young and the greenest of all the options. High failure rate.

We do have some cap hurdles. Get over it.

Aaron Glenn went to New York where he played ball and got to bring a friend option. So what. 75% of us were crying we didn’t want him either.

Other organizations made terrible hires and nobody is criticizing them. I mean I don’t want the Pete Carroll and Russel Wilson option. PASS.

I don’t want Brian Schitneuer, I mean that’s equivalent To Mickey just hiring kubiak.

People are sky screaming and it’s all absurd. What’s worse is the media leading the crap narrative.
How can we prepare you for the next 6 months?

The sky screaming over Aaron Glenn and Joe Brady decisions are ridiculous petulant and quite ignorant.

We didn’t want Glenn and Brady is still very green.
I disagree with everything your saying. I think people are making fair points on missing out on AG and Brady and calling people ignorant because they don't agree with you is childish.

I think AG would have been a great HC candidate and I think the Saints FO and many other did as well. I have zero issues with people thinking AG and Brady are not great candidates, you want to make a post laying out the very reasons why you are glad the Saints missed out on them, then that's a post I can get behind, even if I don't agree.

Name calling and posting opinion as fact is annoying.

The mental gymnastics that's some Saints fan go through to justify the failures of this team is embarrassing.

We need to stop pretending like this is the same team and organization from just a few years ago. We had a SB winning coach and a HOF QB that gave the team a certain level of respectability.

Not going to stick my head in the dirt and pretend like the team has no problems and that those problems are likely causing some candidates to pass on us. No matter how you spin it, not a good look for all the top candidates to pass you by and even some of the low level are telling you No thanks.
Who’s justifying anything?? We are a bad team in a bad situation. Nobody is denying that. So a few coaches chose other opportunities. That’s what happens when you’re not desirable. So is the organization gonna just curl up in a ball and die? The fans obviously have already. I for one don’t want a coach who’s afraid of a good challenge. Brady doesn’t strike me as a build from the ground up type of guy. Let him wait for a team with the perfect ownership and a Josh Allen clone to make his life easier.

I was responding to another comment. Obviously we seek mutual interest, but at this point, we are standing without anyone to dance with. Let the denial continue.

Just be patient the hire will come. I'm sure the Saints have targeted their potential coach.

Your just replying to my post out of context. I agree with everything your saying. The OP post was just craping on people making the very same points you are right now. Not even sure why you replied to my comment.

While I have disagreed with you in the past , I agree with everything you said

I so agree. But to the rest of sr.com, the sky is falling!

That 41 year old QB and “expired” head coach were a Jared Cook fumble away from beating the eventual Super Bowl champs and God knows what else if they win that game.
The amount of heat Jared Cook took for that fumble is dumb, nor is it fair.

Rewatch the game. They gave us a half-dozen chances to pull away in that game and the entire offense (including SP) squandered them. Even worse is it follows an obvious patter of SP choking hard in the playoffs when it matters most. Every single postseason game following the miracle pass, the offense completely vanished.

But if the flag is thrown I bet we win this one
