Thx for the heads up.. i noticed that my eTrade acct was way up today .. usually the only thing that impacts my acct much is TSLA; i saw that it was up but not *that* much.. hadnt occurred to me to check AAPL, but yeah….. 👍

TSLA is up 13%+ today. :D
 
TSLA can move. Wow.

35 billion dollars worth of shares was traded today. Market cap went up 159 billion.

Maybe im naive, but i just cant understand why anyone would sell TSLA right now.. I realize the company has lots of competition coming real soon, some already here- but i believe TSLA will be worth $5k in the next 10 yrs or so.. the only reason i can see missing out on that type of growth is if someone is having hard times right now and just needs some cash, which happens a lot i guess.

My best guess it’s people trying to swing it. I’m kicking myself for not buying TSLA at 600 and Apple when it was 125.

Depends on the day....

I don't own any TSLA. It's volatile at times.
 
There was a rumor of another TSLA stock split at the end of last year. Looks more likely now. The last split was announced when the price was around 1370.

Seriously ? I dont remember it ever getting that high.. guess i need to pay closer attention…


ETA i do remember it splitting, it was 5-1 .. any idea if it would be 5-1 again, or somehting else ?

It split at $2400 (gained 70% in 3 weeks after the split was announced.) The price now is after that split. So it runs from $480 to almost $1200 in a 1 1/2 year.
