Interesting about about American Airlines. This stock didn’t get nearly as much attention as others last January, but it was one of the stocks that Robinhood restricted to close only.

Edit: When lines cross between smart people and meme potential…I’m in…for $100.
Is it overvalued? Yes but everything is way overvalued.

Is debt good? Absolutely not but inflation is good for debt without rapidly rising rates.

It is one of the few brand name stocks that hasn't been able to recover to prepandemic levels.

I couldn't care less about meme potential. Just get that feeling that covid is over and airlines are about to get into the payback travel like hotels and rental car companies were able to take advantage of over the summer and holidays. Also, not at all trying to promote anything so please don't buy on my random thoughts of the day.

Not sure what is happening at Ford, but i do like it.

Meanwhile im waiting for BYND to hit an even $100/share loss before i sell. I figure that will happen Mid/Late Feb.

Ford had so much demand on the F150 lightning electric that they are doubling production and still wont come close to meeting demand. Today was basically their entrance into the electric game even though a lot has been leading up to it.

BYND has done horribly. I still have a ton of that stock and I've recently bought more. I feel really good about the industry long term but got ahead of myself and ignored the pricing evaluation. I could see the whole market reacting very similar at some point in the future because it's all incredibly overvalued.

To think... Ford was trading under $5 a share in March/April of 2020.

They have had the best selling truck for decades. It was the primary reason I bought in last year. The styling didn't change much and I just knew a good portion of F150 buyers are interested in EV, but also want what they "know". And Ford had that in spades.

I think they were being ultra cautious (in forecasting) entering the EV market.

How crappy is it that there are hedge funds shorting a stock in the clinical stage of pediatric cancer treatment, to the max short utilization? 🤨

This is the chart I wanted to post showing how AAL has lagged. I agree that they are the ones with the biggest price growth potential. I want to say I read that American has been revamping their leadership, but let me confirm that. I know that someone I trust was not very high on their leadership 10-12 years ago.

I want to say the line was, "miserable people who hate their lives and don't care about their company" never heard this person speak like this before or since then.

They mostly trend with each other, but the big difference is AAL sliding pre pandemic for about 2 years.

Apologies if this isn't the appropriate place to ask.
I am looking to open an account and get into trading...start slow and learn
What would be some of the sites you'd recommend for that?
