Allstar race was a bit of a snoozer. NextGen cars just really sucks on short tracks. You can't really bump and run, even on an old track because they have such huge brakes and tires. You can pass, but it's absurdly hard unless you have a rocket like Larson did.

Nascar really needs to revamp the car's short track package because what they're doing now isn't conducive to good racing. The longer tracks, racing is fine, but the short tracks, not so much.

Too much grip, not enough horsepower variation.

Plus that track is apparently notorious for long green runs - which seems a bit counterintuitive.

It’s almost certainly gonna be a rain out - all day. Looks like the rain is gonna be on them by noon, and if not will be soon thereafter. Should be all through in time for Cup but even that’s not certain. But hard to see how xfinity gets run tomorrow.

I’m in it now, it’s a nasty coastal low system moving on shore, huge mass of rain. Moving right at Charlotte.

Yeah, apparently the track is very wet, so even though the rain has stopped temporarily, by the time they get it dry enough, it'll be raining again.

It’s still just nonstop rain here - had a long break earlier but it’s been raining again nonstop for hours. Not so sure about the Cup race anymore. Good thing it’s late and with the lights they can go pretty late there.

Yeah, they could go pretty late with the lights if they wanted to. I imagine they'll try to get it done even if late because Xfinity still has to get done Monday as well. I wouldn't mind them running Monday tho as I'm off work then too.
