Yeah, I mean 230 is IndyCars at the Brickyard territory. I was thinking maybe 200-210. Not 230. Phew.
Airborne becomes easier too at those speeds and with the, uh, lack of respect on the track now, it would just be a matter of time

True dat. Although I don't think they'd be near that reckless at 230. And I suspect you'd have more spread out racing at those speeds, so smaller groups would make it less likely to have a big one.

But the getting airborne at those speeds could be a problem for sure, even with all of the downforce those cars have.

This was the wreck that convinced Bill France to go to plates. (We don't use plates anymore, now we use tapered spacers).




I think the Nascar entry briefly held the fastest lap at LeMans.

Saw Hocevar won the truck race Friday. He's on fire this month. I have a feeling he's gonna be in a Cup car in another year or two at the most.

Dinger is the old man and still celebrates wins like it's his first time, lol. He's a trip.
