The organization and the culture

You need to throw PLAYERS in that equation. Could be THEY need to take better care of their OWN bodies since they make MILLIONS with them
Two things. Fear is a motivation that cures injuries. Also, if you’re the team delivering the damage, you’re less likely to be injured. If you’re only reacting to contact, you’re more likely to be injured compared to the one initiating the contact. Like in boxing, the one absorbing the contact is usually on getting TKO’d. :)

This thread makes me want to go read the Patriots board. Winning leads to high expectations and that’s a good thing.

There is no organization or culture and it's been that way for a while now.

We were sunshine pumped for about 2 years that this was actually a good team when it was slowly unraveling right in front of us.

Here’s my thought. Everyone gets stale. Not saying that leadership up and down isn’t good, but they as a whole have been there, and safe, for many many years. The shook up Payton did when they hired Ireland shook things up a bit, but now back to a lot of guys who have been there a long time in the same role. The culture needs to be shaken up. Move people around, get a little bit of change and youth or at least some new views into things. Don’t be afraid to rebuild.
