I went back and forth on it. I see why you would think it's lame, but I think there is something compelling and interesting about that joke. Ultimately I was torn about it, but posted it anyway to see how others viewed it. I think it has some worthy craftsmanship to it.

It just seemed like a stretch. There are so many better opportunities to make short jokes about me.

The connection between bounties and endtables isn't one you'd immediately think of. I admire the effort, but it was a bit rough.

Yes, if he had used kitchen counter or kitchen island, it would have been better. But, the switch between "a bounty" and "Bounty" is just a hard stretch to make. Especially at my height.

I would have tried to work in using a bounty as a blanket. Something like, "he looked cold so someone put a bounty on him."

I think the word "endtable" was the redeeming part. The bounty on his head part suffered because "bounty" isn't really something you can touch, unless you're talking about paper towels.

It was rough, but I liked the endtable part. They're so squat and low.
