What?

That's been on TNT the past few nights. Must have slipped into my subconscious. Good catch.

I tend to agree with this.

One thing all the Bagdad Bob's are forgetting is the player suspensions could be absolutely devastating this year as well. Tell me how we will salvage a decent season with not only our head coach but key members of our defense being suspended for 3-8 games, or more?

Harper
Greer
Jenkins
Will Smith

And I'm sure quite a few others..
all gone for a few games? All at once?!?!

What ****** me off the most is where is the video evidence of the Saints being dirty? I mean, if our intent was to hurt people wouldn't have we hurt a lot more people? I've seen no evidence of our cheap shots. The bottom line is the league made the Saints the sacrficial lamb for this lawsuit they are going through from former players. That along with Roger's belief Payton lied to him. Wow, does that guy have an ego.

You should just kill yourself now.

Seriously, it sucks, but you have to move on and fight. They will probably stagger the suspensions and the players will appeal the suspensions. It could drag on for years like the Star Caps thing did. By then Vilma, Smith and maybe even Greer will have retired.

First, take that lsu stuff and cram it in your cake hole.

Second, while your attempted indictment of the northshore is mostly accurate, you don't know where I live and how different the styles of houses are here. So, piffle. You know not of what you speak. And I'm sure your 60's ranch house in Metairie is architecturally unique from all the other houses near W. Metairie, isn't it.

Third, I don't socialize. You know better than that.

Besides, these fun personal attacks have nothing to do with the matter at hand. What's happening here is that people have different ways of dealing with adversity. Some of you like to pretend it's not that bad in order to lessen the pain. But that's lying to yourself, and it will only lead to more pain further down the line.

Just be a man and stop trying to console yourself with over the top optimism. If it turns out that the saints end up competing, you can be pleasantly surprised.

You can still support this team if you expect them to suck. I did it for many years. You hope for the best but realize it's longshot hoping. Being realistic doesn't make you disloyal - the opposite is true.

Even when you're consistently better than everyone else, it's very hard to win in the nfl. Sean Payton matters. How can you people be so obtuse?

Real men adapt and overcome. They don't ball up in the fetal position and cry when adversity strikes. There is no point in just giving up. It's unmanly, but very north shoreish.

Nobody is balling up and crying. You're spinning.

I'm realistically assessing our chances and continuing to plow forward. You, meanwhile, can't handle the truth like a man. So you must distort it to something more palatable. Something your weak stature can cope with.

But of course.

You can't handle the truth. You sit there in your nice, safe, cozy, north shore home balled up in the fetal position in the back of your jeep while the rest of us stand up to the man. You want Goddell to tell you what to do and when he does, you take it, ball up and ask for more. If professional football were Halo, you would be Bungie, falling back on their laurels and messing things up, while the rest of us would be 343, finishing the fight and taking it to Goddell. You don't want open world football. You hate freedom and you hate America.
