I've never been a big fan of the camp beasts or the guys who looked good on certain plays or in preseason. But man... I wish they would play Charleston and Junior more. These guys seem to make plays every time they get on the field. I have not been impressed with Alex Brown at all this year.

You're right about Charleston, but Galette isn't ready. He made one play and that's about it and he played a good part of the third and fourth quarters. And Alex Brown has been very solid. In fact, his run defense has been very good. He's doing a good job of setting the edge and stopping the sweep instead of getting sucked inside which often happens to Will Smith. His pass rush skills aren't good, but we never thought he was going to be a pass rusher. He was brought in to strengthen the run defense and he has done just that. He's not spectacular, but I don't think anyone who was being realistic thought he would be.

Of course,if we can't get more pressure on the QB, Deion Sanders would look bad back there. We made freaking Max Hall look like Dan Marino

And that's the difference in Porter and Greer. Last year we were getting a lot more pressure. Hargrove was great last year, but he hasn't done much this year and Will Smith has dropped off quite a bit. That's going to expose your corners. That being said, I think Greer and Porter have still been very good, but Greer's ball skills have seemed to drop off just a little bit this year.

I never thought that Brown was going to be a pro-bowler or anything. Just at least perform better than Grant last year....which maybe he has...I guess.

Too much alcohol on my part.I didn't realize that Junior played that much today

Yeah, I mean Brown isn't great, but he is playing better than Grant, at least in the run game. He's getting about as much pass rush as Grant, but he's not getting sucked inside and letting teams get the big play to the outside. I do think we need to upgrade the DE position this year, but I'm not sure if the right player is going to be available. Hopefully Gallette become that guy next year, but I think he needs another year of development.

So who(or where) would you rather play seahawks or rams?

I think I would rather play in st.Louis. I like the idea ofplaying in another dome, I like how St. Louis is in the same time zone. We do'nt have to worry about a time change and its a shorter flight. watching how seattle is confusing Bradford is a good sign, Williams loves disguising blitzes.

On the other-hand, Seattle's offensive line is hurt and they are using a backup QB.

Good luck to you guys this week, I think this is only place its safe for me to post.

Sean Payton will make Pete Carrol wish he was coaching peewee football :17:

Charleston isn't that good. He flashed and makes some great plays, but he isn't consistent. He gets sucked into the wash too much and doesn't hold up his responsibility in the run game when he's forced to play a lot.

So, I think it's accurate to say that neither Galette nor Charleston are ready for primetime at this point.

Last year nobody threw at Greer because he was always in such great position. This year, the word is out on him that even when he is in great position, you can still throw it his way. It appears that while his mirroring skills are excellent, his ball skills are lacking. Which might be the reason we were even able to acquire him. I still like him.

I still like him over Porter.
