Things That Make You Feel Old

I am pretty sure what is causing it - supposedly it’s tight hip flexors. I go to yoga but apparently it’s not enough. I’m sure the hip flexor issue is from weight lifting. It started 2 months ago. I’ve been lifting for a year now so who the hell knows.
Wait until you go to your PCP and he/she tells you "Well, you're not getting any younger, and these things happen with age"

Yeah, I think my issue is related to sitting a lot while working. Need to get up a bit more often and give my lower back a break.

And yeah, the weightlifting definitely can be the culprit for hip flexor issues. Your guess is as good as mine on how to address it. Good luck.

Have you tried a chiropractor? I went several times in the last couple of months and it has helped me a good bit. Neck and lower back.
 
No doubt. While it's just during work, I do have a Lego hobby after work and that involves some sitting and I do go out for an hour long brisk walk most days.
i just finished the 2 new lucky plants, the succulents, poinsettia, and the harry potter mandrake.

Get a foam roller and roll them out every night

I go to the chiropractor regularly. I think this is more muscular weakness/imbalances and possibly over-use. I noticed it getting bad when my dumb arse decided in like October to make a goal of doing Bulgarian split squats with 60 lb dumbbells before the end of the year. While I did them safely and with proper form, I was still probably going up in weight every week too fast.

I did make it to 60lbs on the Monday before new year. Got 4 on each side before I stopped bc my form was beginning to collapse. lol. I bumped it back down to 45’s which is more comfortable and practical.
