Let it go... Miller will be your favorite in no time.Wish we would have went with Achane instead of Miller in the third.
Again, you misread the initial post that you quoted. He was stating that the draft would not rank with the 2017 or even 2006 but may fall in line not far after. Was not an insult. I’m not seeing any remote 2017 comparison and it’s too early for that anyway.
To be fair, you didn't question it. You got in your feelings about it and posted 40+ times about it and insisted that people were conspiring against Spears.
Regardless, I’m suggesting it’s way too premature to even suggest it being comparable to 2006 or 2017. I hardly see that as insulting - especially not compared to the responses I’ve gotten regarding the Kendre Miller pick.Again, you misread the initial post that you quoted. And the insult was “this board man, I swear” when it was you that misinterpreted thd post.
If you walk away from a draft with 4 starters...1 of which is a star.... you have had a very productive draft... The star makes it a great draftTop 4 picks Bresee, Foskey, Miller and Saldiveri can all become starters this season and next. Most of the 6 picks were very productive in college. On paper, it can become one of our greatest draft classes after the 2017 class.
I disagree. These are great, quality, and dependable picks. All of these plays will make the team and heavily contribute over time. We couldn't ask for much more.

I think all I’m asking for, and not getting a legitimate answer on, is what makes some people feel like this draft stacks up even close to that level? Sure there is promise and hope - but I think even after 2017 it felt more palpable because the prospects just seemed better and a lot less risky.Too early, sure. I don't disagree. But this is draft day, comparing to past drafts is kinda natural. We look at the potential and see how that maps out in a perfect world.
in 2017 there were lots of people being real pissy about that draft at the time, especially Kamara. It ended up being one of the best draft classes by a single team in NFL history. All players drafted ended up contributing in the NFL in a noticeable way, both Defensive and Offensive ROYs, and multiple starters early.
Looking at this year, there are some similarities. two defensive players in the first two rounds that will have a chance to contribute enough to be in ROY consideration, a RB that has the toll set to make noise THIS year especially with a Kamara facing a long suspension that could get som ROY looks... and players that are less projects and more likely viable depth to make the roster.
There is real similarities between both drafts. It is highly unlikely we reach that level of success with this class, its almost impossible for ANY team to draft as well as we did in 2017... but its not absurd to have that conversation today of all days.
I don't. Hell, 2017 seemed like a hell of a gamble to me at the time. A corner whose hammies betrayed him constantly in college, a tackle who'd left football entirely at one point, a possession receiver from a school that at the time wasn't exactly churning them out like they have since Hartline got there, a RB who couldn't really get on the field much at either Bama or Tennessee, a linebacker who was constantly injured, a short-armed small school edge LB and a DE who didn't make it more than one season for the team. My point is, none of those picks were safe bets. They just happened to pan out well because of coaching, their drive to be good, or health issues fading. Aside from Anzalone. Dude was electric when he could stay on the field, but I'm glad he's moved on.I think all I’m asking for, and not getting a legitimate answer on, is what makes some people feel like this draft stacks up even close to that level?
