Girl what you really want all night
Me want the buddy, make me feel nice
Boy what you really want all night
Me want the poonani, see for make nice
She want the buddy
Him want the poonani
And me know it nice

Had no idea.TIL that there was once a girl member of Beastie Boys.. like, not just for a minute but for several years when the band first started . she’s now a tv producer for James Corden and The Talk amongst others.. but im checking out the documentary Beastie Boys Story from a few years ago and discovered that factoid .
“We thought with this presidential election coming up in 2024, there could be no better place than the National Postal Museum to have an exhibit where we talk about voting by mail and how it's not a new thing. It's been around for over 160 years in various forms.”

If I have to go through the rest of my life knowing this imma drag you all kicking and screaming with meOk...Now, what can I do to unlearn this?????????
I didn't watch the first pass on the thread. I'd forgotten until it was quoted. Still haven't watched so like my chances. If I have to go through the rest of my life knowing this imma drag you all kicking and screaming with me
well... i have a new hip - that was faster than expected, usually you have to wait a year + for our "free" canadian healthcare providers just to give you a consultation - i kinda had a fairytale joint replacement journey i guess, 6 months start to end (not really ending yet though... this hurts like a mother)that i need a new hip... I'm on a list now, should be about a year, kinda scared about surgery, have never had an operation - will be nice to actually function normally again though
Surgeons are all alike, they never tell you all of the effects of said surgery, lest most opt NOT the have said surgery. Most folks seem to get favorable outcomes from hip replacement, but the journey to that end can be somewhat arduous. Good luck, and I hope you think it's worth it once you feel better.well... i have a new hip - that was faster than expected, usually you have to wait a year + for our "free" canadian healthcare providers just to give you a consultation - i kinda had a fairytale joint replacement journey i guess, 6 months start to end (not really ending yet though... this hurts like a mother)
5 days since surgery, prescribed Oxy is about to run out (prolly for the best i guess?) and can't sleep more than an hour or two at a time, have a 2 week-doctors visit to make sure all is good coming up, then a 6 week visit with the surgeon... until then i'm not supposed to do anything... 6 WEEKS - can't even drive!! and then, get this... supposed to have ANOTHER 6 weeks of rehab and doing nothing.
This is just yelling into the void, i have tv series and puzzles and games and all this stuff to fill time, but I ALSO shouldn't have alcohol with these meds - which is the worst thing the doc could have said in front of my wife 3 months... at one point in my life that would have been like winning the lottery
I have a wheeled walker to use at home when no one's home (my daughter saw it and started sniggering) and i want to launch these crutches into the sun already... apologies, hope everyone is sleeping peacefully
I'm not looking forward to it at all. It's inevitable, but I'm procrastinating, sort of, because I can't afford to be laid up atm. Probably after the new year I'll be in the same boat as you.well... i have a new hip - that was faster than expected, usually you have to wait a year + for our "free" canadian healthcare providers just to give you a consultation - i kinda had a fairytale joint replacement journey i guess, 6 months start to end (not really ending yet though... this hurts like a mother)
