Look, the one who was probably the most delinquent of us is now a Buddhist PT who jogs for health
We’re all pretty lame at this point
I believe that reference may have been directed at me (OT actually), and I just want to say that I don't quit my vices, my vices quit me. It's not that I don't want to do these things, it's that lack of monetary and physical resources preclude me from engaging in said vices. the Buddhist practice of non-attachment helps me deal with the loss :hihi:

TYL, both my parents were teachers and they.were.the.BEST!!
We have something in common, Marsha. Both of my parents are teachers - my mom will be retiring at the end of this school year after teaching English at the elementary school level for the last 29 years. My dad teaches music at the college level and he said he wants to give it another 2-3 years before he hangs it up. He also said he knows my mom is going to drive him nuts when they’re both retired together, to which I agreed, and told him he’s stuck like Chuck.

I don’t think she posts here, so she can’t whip my arse. :covri:

Hey, more in common, my mom was a music teacher! Junior high, though. What's cool about having parents as teachers was being able to take advantage of summers off with many trips.
