Does anybody else think that this game reminds you of the Minneapolis miracle. I’m tired of watching the team fight and claw and come back and go ahead and then we allow the other team to throw a big bomb boom. All it seems to take is one play to pull out a gut wrenching loss from the jaws of victory.

I am not sure of your age, but I assume you are not old enough to be familiar with the Saints of the 70's and 80's.

Amen. Even if I still cared like I did for so many years (I don’t) I’d be thankful as heck for this amazing time in the history of our team and being a fan of said team. It’s been so much worse lol.

Just agreeing with the original posters point.
We've endured lots of disappointment as Saints fans.
Some of it brutal.
Other fan bases experiencing their own disappointment doesn't lessen mine.

Why is he calling press coverage under 2 minutes when you know they need chunk plays? That’s the only criticism I have from this game. You saw earlier in the game that Patterson ran the same route

Adebo is good but he needs more game awareness and Allen should not have called for press coverage.

I've been watching football since Gale Sayers was a freshman in college and I've never seen a team (other than the Falcons) find more bizarre ways to fork up a game or a season.

This organization is a collection of failures. Take away 2009's magic and every year is either abject failure or some inexplicable statistically improbable melt-down. I had zero doubt in my mind the defense would give up a bomb. Most fans here felt it.

Failure is our culture. We are either outright regular season losers or post-season losers. We are never comfortable with a lead because we've seen too many blown leads by us. We are never comfortable from behind because we KNOW a turnover, penalty or some mind-numbing idiotic play is about to happen.

This franchise is cursed. People will be upset and neg rep but will have zero facts to disprove what I've said.

Short of 3-4 organizations that have won multiple Super Bowls in the last 30 season, every franchise is in the same boat.

And many actually worse, they haven’t won a Super Bowl or consistently win 10 games.

It's BIG loss! Huge. At home for the second time this season and we completely blew a chance to win a conference/divisional lead (tied) to an inferior team. Again.

Because people are simply trying to put in perspective how every fanbase basically (except the Pats maybe???) has their share of downfalls they constantly experience with their team yet we have folks in here acting like we are the ONLY fanbase that suffers this. It's hilarious.

No one is saying not to be mad or upset when we lose games like this. But the "WOE IS US. WE WILL NEVER BE HAPPY. OUR LIVES AS SAINTS FANS ARE THE WORST OF ANY FANBASE" is silly.
