LOL SpaceX = OceanGate.
Ask Elon about the regulation hurdles in SpaceX - and ask him how they ended up pushing him in doing things the right way. Harder? yes. More costly? absolutely.
Nah we're all just jealous plebs, check out this tweet from this TPUSA guy that says soIt's Matt Walsh. He's an absolute buffoon.
This really should be the end of the thread.
And wear a tie everyday? No thank you
I just can't decide which reaction emoji this deserves

I don’t follow the guy (I agree with others that he is a wild one), but I echo his sentiments. You're in great company here lol
I don’t know him, but I agree with his sentiment.i don't think that dude is any position to be preaching about morality
I've been a structural engineer for 20+ years and my old boss who is now deceased used to like to say, when he was discussing project proposals/timelines, "You can have designs done fast, or you can have them done cheap or have it done right, but you can only pick 2 of the 3." Fast and cheap are relative terms, but the point was that if you want something designed fast and right, you need to dedicate more money to it because you have to dedicate more resources to it. Even more important when you dealing with the type of pressure and forces that the sub needed to deal with.
Oceangate went the fast and cheap route in their design and operations, this outcome was to be expected.
I understand having that instinct/reaction to this. I also understand it's a pretty common amongst certain people that have absolutely no business engaging in moral grandstanding. And I understand once more that this instinct will not be felt by said people in many other instances where moral objection is much more appropriate.I don’t follow the guy (I agree with others that he is a wild one), but I echo his sentiments.
As mentioned previously it’s sickening to see so many on social media rejoicing in the death of another “evil rich person”, without even knowing who these people were (other than being better off than them).
It must be a miserable existence to live like that.
