Ah, the notorious Fake Jan Special …….. im still almost as pissed at Eve Plumb’s refusal to take part in this monumental tv event, as i am at Yoko Ono for tearing at the fabric of the Beatles……

The only way that it could have been worse is if Sonny and Cher had been on the show. Eve probably didn't want to be remembered for having participated in this cheese ball. (Or they weren't paying her well enough)

This movie for me holds up. I watch it every Christmas, multiple times.

they played it at one of the theaters in BR a few years ago. it was great. i didn't see it in the theater when it was released originally.

Never watched it. I was never a fan of Steve Martin and I only watched TP&A for John Candy.

I can honestly say that I've never watched a single episode of the Brady Bunch. Not voluntarily anyway.

Not many things much more fun than rushing home from first grade and watching Brady Bunch reruns 10 yrs after it went off the air.. ive read that former Governor Piyush Jindal starting going by “Bobby” b/c he liked the name from watching BB reruns.. and come to think of it, i remember the show being the reason i started calling my father “Dad” instead of Daddy, which id called him up until then.. i just thought it sounded so cool the way the kids on the show said “Dad .”

Wow, am I ever glad that I missed that one!

Saw that in maybe the last single screen theater in NYC
Matinee show so not too many in attendance, but our collective reaction to the hobbling scene is something I’ll always remember
