I agree with this to a certain extent.
Instead of trading him.

It’s unrealistic. Rizzi wants the HC job and if he doesn’t get it he’d like one in the future…like Dan Campbell got…so he’s going to play the best players. It’s almost certain Carr is our starting QB next year so I’m not sure how far into the future that guy is talking. 2026 and beyond maybe.

Can’t $52 million cap hit next year. We’d have to restructure, add at least another year to spread out the hit and give him another huge signing bonus just to make a trade attractive but that would still mean roughly $22-23 mil dead money on our books through 2026

Mickey Loomis just need to stop giving out these HUGE contracts to unproven players. Especially restructuring these mistakes. Just bite the bullet & move on. This is the main reason why his "kicking the can down the road" method. It has been doing more damaged than good towards us for the past 5+ years
