A good pass rush any day because we need pressure to get stops on defense and maintain leads. A good QB who gets the ball out quickly and maneuvers the pocket can make it work with an average OL.Pick one to rather have?... Some might disagree but prefer a good pass rush over a good offensive line. Got to have both but seeing quarterbacks standing in the pocket all day infuriates me.
Ruiz has improved. Penning just need reps and some time and patience.A good pass rush any day because we need pressure to get stops on defense and maintain leads. I think we have two really good-great OL in Ramcyzk and McCoy, and two other OL in Ruiz and Penning who will be on their level soon.
Lutz is a good kicker and will continue to be a good kicker well into his 30s. But if you look around the league, good kickers tend to move around in their late 20s and early 30s. Unless you have an elite kicker, most kickers will be kicking for a different team at some point. There's probably only a handful of veteran kickers who are still with their first team in the league.I still consider Lutz an elite kicker. It’s not like he went full-on Lohmiller out there last year.
And the mid-90’s regime once said Morten Andersen was on his way out….he ended up playing just as long with other teams as he did for the Saints and was inducted into the HOF.

Is Lutz elite? I think there's a good chance he is and I feel that last season was a down year which every kicker will have. Would I keep him? Yes because he is a proven ice cold game winning kicker and those are hard to find.
The thing about Lutz is that his kicks usually have an odd spin so they are more unpredictable.Lutz is a good kicker and will continue to be a good kicker well into his 30s. That downward trend in kicking % is concerning along with the yearly XP miss. This Grupe vs Lutz decision is tough. With a vet he's more used to pressure kicks and kicking in harsh noisy, windy, cold environments compared to a rookie. A kicker has to be 85% and 100% XP in my opinion.
Justin Tucker (Ravens) the best kicker in the league stats compared to Will cLUtz. (scroll down) Wow, what happened to Luts in 2020? He went from Elite to terrible in 2022. By the way Tuckers lifetime is 90.5 and Lutz is still a decent 84.6 ( i wish i could edit the column widths)
He has missed 7 XPs in 6 years. Why is that bad? They are not automatic any more. That downward trend in kicking % is concerning along with the yearly XP miss.
I guess youre right on the XP.He has missed 7 XPs in 6 years. Why is that bad? They are not automatic any more.
Yep...even Justin Tucker isn't automatic anymore. He has missed 7 XPs in 6 years. Why is that bad? They are not automatic any more.
