To be sure, we've seen video before Hill was pulled over, and he was clearly speeding, but nowhere near the 100 mph reported. Even the police report stated they estimated 60 mph, which is still too fast on that road, but not as bad as a lot of ordinary speeding stops.A lot of blame to be shared here from all parties involved.
Though I respect their authority, I do have a disdain for police officer “bully tactics,” the types that think just because they have been given a gun and a badge it gives them a right to be a certified jerk; and I think this is what’s on display here at certain intervals.
That being said, what in the hell are you doing driving that fast Tyreke, especially on a game day, then not complying and showing contrition once caught?
Nearly 2000 players get to work on game day without a hitch, week after week, year after year, and you of all people have to be the one knucklehead that finds himself pulled over and in handcuffs.
Come on man!
Hill isn't without fault here, but it's clear that the cops could have decided to just give him a ticket and send him on his way. They acted like thin skinned power tripping dudes. They can and should be better.
