Ukraine (6 Viewers)

Of all the trash I get in my Youtube feed this is the worst click bait BS of the bunch.

It was a strategic interest, not an economic one. Ukraine doesn’t have much in the way of natural resources, nor do they manufacture

It wasn’t like Iraq with oil. As the sub e, it was expected they would lose. As Tapxe said, the US didn’t start ramping up support until after about a week or so of fighting
Ukraine has a lot of natural resources. Any place that has a large salt sea, and hot springs tends to be a mineral store house. And Ukraine has that in abundance as do the United States. We have the state of Nevada and Utah.

They also have oil and natural gas.

Insofar as "wealth of nations" agricultural production is true wealth. They have a nice climate, plenty of fresh water, and they can grow crops kind of like California does in the central valley. Even without the natural mineral resources they would have a lot.

They are a lot like California plus Nevada. Very comparable.

They also have have Steel like Michigan does with their motor city infrastructure. Russia is trying to steal that part.

They have a lot of economic potential. They were the major production center for the Soviet Union. By comparison Russia is kind of poor.

Another one. How many Turkish yarn craft YouTube channels are their for fake Ukrainian war news sites to hijack???

This makes six without counting the Turkish cooking channel last week. Just counting yarn craft channels that have been hijacked from their women, to make fake war porn channels for men.

Here's what this channel was doing 4 months ago:

In fairness, the US warned of a Russian invasion for months and Zelenskii literally called it hype and fear mongering. It was his only mistakez

I think most people who post here realize the whole NATO line was propaganda.

I believe, and plenty of others do as well, that Ukraine was invaded for primarily two reasons after they rebuffed Russia's influence:

1. Sevastopol is Russia's only deep, warm water port.
2. Ukraine has plentiful ONG deposits inside of their EEZ focused around Crimea.

If Russia loses Crimea the war is a total loss for them.

If this seems confusing, Russia doesn't care to ever develop those oil fields around Crimea, but they want to make sure Ukraine never does. That motive is lessened now that Europe has ended it's dependence on Russian ONG. The world was very different in 2014.

The 250,000 mark was reached today:

which aligns with that post about propogandist Skabeeva talking about having counted 284,000 obituaries on Russian social media sites. The thinking is some were "double" posts ( family members each posting about RuAF troop ) so even if 15% are double posts, still around 240,000~ in losses.

That
is
insane

Operator Starsky here:

In today's update it almost seems like he is joining us here in our discussions about it being about the land and resources, not about NATO.
