With Moore just getting here, having to hire his staff, and now the Combine, it's probably slowing down the decisions on personnel. They will get it done in time, but it's probably going to take a little longer than normal with all the changes in scheme and trying to figure out who is worth the money and who isn't.

We usually wait until a few days prior to the league year for compliance, then open space for free agents as we need it.

So we are likely looking at about another week before the news cycle starts to churn.

I guess, but it's not like it takes any time to do it since it's just procedural. They probably want to figure out all the other moves first to see if those moves will be necessary. And that means evaluating a large chunk of the team.

Speaking of Ruiz I sure wouldn’t mind an upgrade at both guard positions. Imo, even tho he’s shown a bit of improvement over the years he’s still a major liability up front. Could we get Becton and plug him in there? Draft a LG?

Just a matter of turning it in. The Saints organization as a whole just doesn’t like to do league required items until they absolutely are required to.

It's hard to know until they get into a game for real....it's not like Rattler played that well either but he has more potential/upside....and I may be wrong, no idea yet who KM likes at QB yet....

They’ve played, albeit with not much help.

I disagree on Rattler, don’t think he’s anything but a big arm. Time will tell tho for sure.
