Now that some time has passed, with all the uproar this has generated in social media, I wonder if there is any pause amongst the healthcare insurance executives. Not for personal safety which there no doubt is, but an analysis of policy for a better balance of effect on patients vs profit for shareholders.

Personally I don't think that's a balance that should have to be negotiated, but I'm in the minority of that in this country.

Oh no, trust me. There is no other consideration beyond profits. None. I've been in health (we don't)care for over 20 years. No consideration for functional outcomes at all.

Well that's the kicker he didn't murder anyone. But a crazy man of color was restrained by a white guy until police came and took him into custody. The guy died later.

Im more outraged at the fact we let people with mental health issues live on the streets without help. But hay in today's climate everything is about race. That way problems can't be solved. And the wheels go round and round.
