You know, commenting on the talk about any other events in NOLA people can remember that this event makes them think of ..... all the local channels are covering this with NO interruptions at least as long as I've been watching since about 6:30. When was the last time THAT happened? Other than hitting Reddit, I haven't looked anywhere else.


Local news is also reporting having talked to a few people in town for the Sugar Bowl who aren't staying.

I would say the HoJo sniper, Mark Essex, which kicked off on 12/31/1973 oddly enough.

The plate was able to get Vin, which led to owner who rents it on Turo. Won't post name but he has Latino name

So this narrative about border crossing could simply be owner traveling to Mexico ( family or business etc).
