They recently labeled a person who shot another in New York a terrorist. Everything is terrorism now. That’s what the mayor said.. im not sure the exact definition of terrorism these days, but i guess if one guy acting alone is terrorism, then yeah .
Many many MANY things .
I-20 is still closed in Mesquite Texas after a drunk driver slammed into 4 people changing a tire killing them all...9 oit of 10 times? What NOLA monster city have created in your mind? Sir, can you show me a story of someone driving drunk in New Orleans plowing through pedestrians then getting out and shooting while there's an explosive device in the vehicle?
For the record, drunk drivers kill pedestrians in every city, not just New Orleans.
You talkin’ about you?It should be automatically expected that holes in walls will have unwanted guests while at the same time having the best food.
True but they're also saying this guy was in full body armor. That it was not a "body" kill and he was shooting cops with an AK. So we can enter that circular debate as well. They recently labeled a person who shot another in New York a terrorist. Everything is terrorism now.
Looks like it.Is that a flag pole on the back of the truck?
Looks like it. Whatever it's holding is wrapped around it.Is that a flag pole on the back of the truck?
If you knew me you would know that I have zero partisan political affiliations. I don't have any feelings for or against Mayor Cantrell. What I do know is that one of the biggest roles of a mayor is to promote their city in the best light possible; to attract more people to become potential tourists to the area. I was not trying to overdramatize her statement. I believe that most people who have love for the city would have wanted the verbiage to be more reassuring during those early hours of the investigation while allowing the local & federal law enforcement agencies to raise the level of caution if necessary.I am no fan of Cantrell, but I think you're being overdramatic again. Link gives a decent explanation as to why the mayor and the FBI are saying two different things.
And to your point about future events, that's not going happen. Is the NFL going to stop having events in New York, Atlanta, L.A., who have experienced far worse events then this? No. Neither will be the case here.
I hope we can focus on the lives lost or injured today and not these assumptions that have nothing to do with it.
Yes. That is going to become another big point. I've heard an "Isis" flag. But whatever, that's another point of why the FBI is involved. Is that a flag pole on the back of the truck?
The New Orleans police superintendent in her initial statement to the media this morning said that during her early interviews she learned that the majority of the victims 'appears' to be local to this area rather than visitors/tourists who may be in town for the playoff game.Where was the reporting that the victims were mostly local?
