Vikings still sore about 2009. (3 Viewers)

What a stupid article.

He doesn't know what the word "cheating" means. If the Saints had hit guys too hard compared to what was acceptable in 2009 there would be flags in the game. If the Saints brought knives and batons onto the field, sure, that would be cheating. But just hitting guys "too hard" isn't what the word cheating means. But because mentally he's an infant, he has to use words in the same way a baby would.

"Meaningless Miracle"

They got crushed the following week.
I have a buddy of mine who's a Vikings fan, who told me it's a "Meaningless Miracle", because from the moment Diggs scored the unbelievable Hail Mary-ish TD vs. us in 2017, it seemed like the majority of Vikings fans began jumping up and down, celebrating like they'd won the SB or had advanced to appear in a SB. All that win, as insane, spontaneous, and inexplicable as how it occurred, ensured was that Minnesota was guaranteed to play one more week and he also believes that 2017 Viking squad in particular, really underestimated how determined, hungry, and focused Philly was to get back to the SB and finally win one, after two failed attempts in their franchise's long history (1980 and 2004).

We have a joke in Philly. "When you're in Minnesota, is it 6:22 or 38 to 7?"

You know, that picture basically sums up the NFL for me now. I used to be an all in, excited fan, but after that, I can't get over my cynicism that the NFL and Las Vegas are manipulating the playoffs every year to get the teams to the Super Bowl that they think will bring in the most ratings and betting $$ rather than actually allowing the best team to win.
