You can find a Tag for around $550 - 600. Just depends if you want stainless steel or leather band and style of watch.

I dont wear a Tag, but I think that will be my next watch.

I'd prefer stainless.. I'd probably actually prefer titanium b/c I love how light my titanium Seiko is..

I rock a stainless Bulova Marine star. Had it for about 5 years now, almost daily use, and it's still in great condition. Replaced the battery once. I got it off Woot for about $100, think it retailed for about 2x or 3x that at the time.

All my watches die very quickly. I quit buying them. My last one was a Bulova that kept killing the battery in a couple of months.

Ironically, I just started wearing my watch again (today was the first day). I used to wear them all the time, but like others said, I got a cell phone. Here is the one I have and am wearing today:

I'd like to stay below $500, and I know that severely limits the selection.. I figure there are still some nice options available at that price though..

I'd like a Tag as well, but that's out of the price range..

Sometimes you can get a nice Raymond Weil for around $500. That might be a good option for you as well.

World of watches has tons of watches for $350-$500. I think i attached the link correctly which has all models available for that price point.

Here is a cool watch with a good story. This is the Original James Bond Omega. (Brosnan wore it for the 1st time in GoldenEye) Yes the original James Bond Omega was a quartz not an automatic.

I picked up one for $800 a few years back. They will hold their value. Some Watch Aficionados swear by automatics, but I am not the type of guy to put it on a winder every night.

Here a couple of examples on ebay, but makes sure they are authentic!

I got one of these a few years ago for $525 when retail was 895. Retail is 995 now.
