I have been listening to this new Pinegrove album - a New Jersey band that I suppose is sort of like Modest Mouse meets Gaslight Anthem, though clearly not as good as either of those. This song is pretty good though.

Does anyone else listen to this band? On their third album since I posted ^ . Really good (Indy/Americana, smart lyrics and arrangements, good live).

This song came up in my music stream this morning - seems especially relevant today. It by Thrice - who have long been my favorite band to listen to. I believe this is off of their most recent album. Their catalogue is one of the more diverse ones around, and Dustin Kensrue is one of the best mostly unknown songwriters out there at the moment. The opening sounds eerily like the opening melody to Stranger Things.
