Why doesn't Shogun have it's own thread? I got on this late but quickly caught up and enjoyed the finale. I don't believe there are plans for a Season 2 but if they do, I will watch the hell out of it. Great show.

Yes sequel unlikely- Clavell’s ‘sequel’ is more than a century after the end (so no continuing characters), and it’s reportedly a much lesser work

The entire seasons was bonkers, Allison Janney's appearance took that bonkers and cranked it to 20!

I came away thinking that VP Penn is a damn impressive and strong VP after her 1v1 meeting with Amb Wyler and their meeting with Trowbridge. After the reveal, you realized how much of a manipulative player she really was. She played both Trowbridge and Wyler like they were infants! Then there's Hal, he just can't help himself.

We just watched 2 international shows that we really enjoyed!

1 - No Man’s Land on Hulu. Following the Syrian/ISIS Conflict

2 - La Unidad HBO- On season 2, a good show about Spain’s anti-terrorist unit



We always enjoy watching a well acted show with, for us, unknown actors.
