Yea my Dad is a die hard Falcon fan, As is one of my very good lifelong friends. I have no hate for them. I’m totally apathetic towards them. The Panthers seem to beat us way more than the Falcons, last decade or so.

Well if you needed extra hate motivation we only lead the all time series with the panthers by one game, and we are tied with the falcons at 54-54. It’s enough hate to go to both of them

To be fair, Carl Smith's terrible playcalling cost this team more than anything the Niners did. We had the defense to keep them in check. But run, run, pass, punt did us in every time.

Oh I agree our offense was the main culprit. We were very good several years and they were just a tad better. That’s my rationale.

A few times we had them at the end of the season after we've already locked up a PO berth which prevented a couple sweeps....and we did have the threep a few years back

Dang scheduling putting panthers on Thurs after a falcon or buca Sunday, we'd drain ourselves getting that sun win, to blow it vs panthers on Thurs.

The Panthers are not the enemy...the Falcants are.

Idnk why this board hates Cam so much. Other than him being a punk in the Super Bowl in hindsight he wasn't a bad QB. Compared to Ryan Leaf, Tim Tebow, Donovan McNabb, Michael Vick, Johnny Manziel, Tim Couch (or Eric..I forget), Danny Weurffel....Cam was pretty damn good.

He’s a good QB. Not a HOFer like Panthers fans think or want him to be.
I think what irks people about Cam was the entire Superman thing.
Personally, I didn’t have a problem with that. I hate him because he’s a rival NFCS QB; but I’ll admit he’s a good QB.

I think he was a very good QB, just hated his attitude. Pretty sure that’s why most folks didn’t like him.

If I have to pick out of that group I’d take Vick and McNabb. Loved em both.
Tebow Couch and Wuerffel were terrible and don’t belong in this group imo.

I'll take this one:
1. His mannerisms when he's winning vs the sulky little biz natch he is when he's losing
2. The outfits...the freaking outfits, you just lost an important game...don't come to the press conference like you're trying to play big bird in a live action adaptation of Sesame street
3. Inability to humble yourself, "show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser" - there's more to being a good loser than just accepting you lost.
4. Delusion - "they couldn't handle my aura"...nah they couldn't handle paying you to have a rookie outpace you in grasping the system
5. The freaking outfits...stop coming out looking like you're trying to transition to an old black lady named Ethel.
