N/S Cutler trade to Bears (mega merge)

our problem has been a complete lack of defense. If we can get a functional defense, the Bears are not a threat.

it takes alot more than a franchise QB to make a superbowl team. See: us.
#1 offense in the league and not much to show for it. Jay is a great player, but hes not much of a leader and your QB really needs to actl ike one.

the only scary part of the bears offense is forte, period, end of story. cutler isnt the "elite" quarterback some people think he is. he's averaging right around 16 picks a year, and although he's only entering his 4th year, his qb rating has dropped every year. with the receivers he's going to be throwing to now, i dont see this trend reversing. i think the vikings should have no trouble winning that division for the next few years, as long as AP is there.

Forte will not be a NFL force at RB. As long as Lovie Smith is coach the Bears won't win the Superbowl.

they do have tight ends. dont sleep on them. and as long as hester lines up across a db he is a wr and he is a threat.
