The NFL changes way to much from year to year. There are probably a few things Steck will be able to tell Smith, but I'm sure we have quite a few new wrinkles in our offense that he doesn't know. This isn't anything to worry about, he won't be able to tell Smith much of anything.

Stecker: "No problem, I'll tell you everything you need to know"

For a vet with as many years as Steck, even at vet minimum the game checks must've been what, 40-50k a week? Power to him.

No, but I have every right to boo him for signing with the Clowns and laugh at him for subsequently being cut. Just like I boo'd Bobby, Mort, Joe when they went over there. Just stay out of Atlanta!!! That's how much I hate them.....and the 49'ers.
