Incorrect. This is you being told that it's not a thread about your favourite player. It rarely is, which is part of your problem.
You are incorrect, as usual. Your mind reading abilities are comparable to Jason David's performance here. Move on. I think it's best if you simply interact with other posters and I will do the same.

I don't need to read minds to see an agenda as naked as the day is long.

Now, maybe we can get back to Haener...

He also followed up with a joke about how it’s never the QB’s fault. Watch the video for yourself, it’s not hard to see that the throw had no chance. The WR could have possibly tried to break it up, but at the end of the day the DB is getting in front of that throw. Haener takes the dump off and it’s third down with less to go.

All QB’s make mistakes, it’s funny that no one wants to accept that the camp MVP made one here.
I think it’s clear a mistake was made, it was an interception after all. I just can’t believe you’re still ragging on it like the kid didn’t play a whole second half, and lead a game tieing/winning drive (had the Center not screwed up on the convert)

Once guys started actually catching his passes the kid looked good and he threw the ball well.

Obviously you care, because you posted. It's not a "persecution complex" , it's, the irony. Get a grip.
We’re all just sick of your little group coming in and trying to create issues. I thought @Andrus made it clear in another thread about doing this type of stuff? Can we not focus on Haener and what he did this past game without your thinly veiled attempt to make this about something and someone (you know who) else?

Would be great to get back to that!

Personally I’m excited to see how he does this week. He didn’t look flustered at all out there in my opinion he looked pretty poised. He’s going to make mistakes, but the depth he was playing with didn’t help. If they roll him out with some starter level players or close this game, that can actually catch a pass, it will be interesting to see how he puts together a couple drives. That being said I could see he still making a mistake leading to a turnover it’s going to happen with rookies but that’s how you learn.

His initial half of football I think a lot of ups and downs to build off of.

We'll see plenty of Haener, but they're not going to expose their good WR's. Mike and Olave will be lucky to get 5 catches each in the last 8 quarters remaining in Nerf season. The best we can hope for is AT and Kirkwood.

You mean the thread where others brought up the other QB and @BayouSAINTJoe got his hand smacked for responding with facts to post with no merit and we had people adding laughing reactions after the thread was locked; that thread?

I agree that he finished strong and that the drop off in talent is evident, especially with the O-line (which people didn't seem to notice until later on) which leads me to believe that we will live and die by the status of our O-line. But I expected to see the up and down, as I wasn't swayed by the media fluff. 7v7 is a lot different than the real game, even if it is 3rd/4th strings and guys who won't make it but I think he can build on the last game. I'm thinking that we might see a lot more of him next game.

This is the one thing I'm going to say about this. So we can't have disagreements like grown men/adults without running to the admin/webmaster/site owner?

What are we doing here?

Those would be good options though as well

Grown Men don’t obsess over a single player with their friends and continually try and allude to how he was treated or why he should be a starter or whatever is the point of that day about their favourite player. It’s obsession that teenagers have that no matter what anyone is talking about, they are so absorbed by their infatuation with this person that they must bring it up during every topic.

I’m not trying to insult you or your buddies but I’m going to take the stand for the other people on here that don’t want to ruffle the feathers.

We just don’t need snide comments alluding to how unfair Winston was treated. We don’t need stats from 2015 comparing him to now and we don’t need to go over the minutia of 2022 any further. There is 100% a pattern of threads getting steered in that direction by a few posters on here. And it makes things very frustrating for the posters that want to discuss the topic at hand.

A grown man would probably get the message by now that it’s time to move on. But here it is spelt out for you.

Let’s focus on the season at hand abs the players that the thread is dedicated to.

If we can just stop this overbearing obsession with comparing backwards, and just focus on the positives of this season and the players or topics within the thread, I think we all will find things alot more enjoyable on here.
