SR has been an amazing forum for Saints fans for many years, but I’m just going to be honest. Once Winston was signed and Drew retired of course there was a battle for the QB position which in all honesty Winston won between him and Hill. However, after that or during that there became some real division on this board. To this day the board has not resembled its former self. It’s still one of the best places out of all NFL teams, but it’s littered with division, hateful stuff, despicable stuff, etc. There’s still massive divisive stuff taking place because Winston isn’t the starter or because we went with Carr who hasn’t lived up to the billing. Winston supporters think he can still start in this league which many don’t and really it seems most GMs think he’s a backup now, and a lot of people just aren’t happy with Carr. The backup is usually one of the most important and famous people in a town that supports a bad football team, here with that QB being Winston the divide continues to take place. As a newer member to this forum, I am not keen on many of what look like inside jokes to me (do I wanna know why every poll says tacoes as an option? why is it spelled tacoes? my spell check doesn't like that).
In this thread I have seen some absolutely reprehensible posts regarding a player's injury with ample time/opportunity to drop a "ha, just kidding" that has not been taken. It is utterly sickening to share a space and fanhood with those of you who are carrying on that way. I wish I hadn't opened this thread, to be fully honest. A bout of insomnia has me now feeling a mixture of anger and sadness. I hope you never have to endure being spoken of the way you've spoken of others.

Tacoes is an acronym. I believe it is: The Alternate (or Above??) Choices Offered Equally Suck.As a newer member to this forum, I am not keen on many of what look like inside jokes to me (do I wanna know why every poll says tacoes as an option? why is it spelled tacoes? my spell check doesn't like that).

Gotta be honest, all the intangible body language / leadership / energy / buzz / losing the locker room stuff that people merrily attribute to players and coaches always seems to be something that suits an agenda, narrative or pre-conceived analysis.Tacoes is an acronym. And for you and the rest who have a problem with the notion that Carr could fake an injury, there are many of us with trust issues who no longer believe what we’re told when it comes to all things NFL. Call me heartless, paranoid, tin foil, lacking intellect or whatever else makes you feel better, but I have no problem entertaining theories and ideas that things may not be what they seem in a league that has time and time again shown me it is deceptive.
I also grew up in a world surrounded by con artists so I’m quick to be suspicious if something doesn’t sit right.

“Nicer things” lolHave we fallen this far that we’re calling Carr “nice things”? Oh man, we’re bad off.
Been a member since 2003. We had division when Haslett favored Brooks over Del'homme. That was a genius move that backfired. The same goes for present day. We still don't have our QB of the future, but the front office was bold enough to go get what they thought was the answer. Now it's play Carr for another year, and draft your QB of the future in this upcoming draft, or the 2025 draft.SR has been an amazing forum for Saints fans for many years, but I’m just going to be honest. It’s honestly sad to see
Yea, different circumstances a little. The big time divide there really started when Brooks got hurt and Haslett refused to acknowledge it and it cost us the season.Been a member since 2003. I for one, believe that with a change regarding the coaching staff, Carr can be pretty darned good. This is where Loomis MUST make the change, immediately.Yea, different circumstances a little. However, in theory, still division of course. Let's hope Carr can at least be serviceable for the remainder of his time here. Although, I do not hold out much hope for anyone in B&G until this regime is let go. Just listening to Karmara's most recent interview with Underhill on youtube, he has no faith in this staff. It's so evident. We know if he feels that way the majority of players do as well.
I've been looking. I haven't seen any hard rules about how many. This doctor recommends sitting it out after your third in a season.2 concussions within a 22 day period...and the team isn't stepping in to say enough is enough?!?
