Did Tua sit out the remainder of the year?I've been looking. I haven't seen any hard rules about how many. This doctor recommends sitting it out after your third in a season.

And if Winston was getting paid what Carr is he would have been bood to oblivion as well.Winston missed every throw he had and almost threw a pick that was tipped. I guess this may be better.
It looks like he did. Missed six games. His last concussion was, I think, Christmas. He missed the playoffs after. Seven total?Did Tua sit out the remainder of the year?
You can’t seriously believe this..Yep...that's exactly what I'm saying. I know his type, and that kind of move that reaps all the benefits of a theoretical comeback while avoiding the consequence of a failed comeback falls right in line with that type
They reluctantly sat him after all the exposure. I think most players still have an old-school view of concussions. If they can play in practice, that's good enough for them. If the team or neurological consultant doesn't step in, the plan is to play. The only people that truly care about their long-term cognitive health are family and close friends. For everyone else, this is just a business agreement. It looks like he did. Missed six games. His last concussion was, I think, Christmas. He missed the playoffs after. Seven total?
Tua Tagovailoa concussion history: Revisiting Week 3 controversy vs. Bills, later head injuries to Dolphins QB | Sporting News
Tua Tagovailoa will not play in the Dolphins' wild-card game vs. the Bills. Back in Week 3 against Buffalo, he suffered the first of his three confirmed or suspected concussions this season.www.sportingnews.com
The thought of Carr leading this team again next year absolutely ruins next season for me ahead of time. I can only hope that the next coaching staff will have the courage to do with Carr what Seattle did with Matt Flynn after drafting Russell Wilson.Been a member since 2003. We had division when Haslett favored Brooks over Del'homme. That was a genius move that backfired. The same goes for present day. We still don't have our QB of the future, but the front office was bold enough to go get what they thought was the answer. Now it's play Carr for another year, and draft your QB of the future in this upcoming draft, or the 2025 draft.
When AK requests that trade I’m going to be in shamblesYea, different circumstances a little. The big time divide there really started when Brooks got hurt and Haslett refused to acknowledge it and it cost us the season.
However, in theory, still division of course. Let's hope Carr can at least be serviceable for the remainder of his time here. Although, I do not hold out much hope for anyone in B&G until this regime is let go. Just listening to Karmara's most recent interview with Underhill on youtube, he has no faith in this staff. It's so evident. We know if he feels that way the majority of players do as well.
I get the general point, but Carr, after 10 years and multiple coaches, has never been pretty darn good. I think he can be respectable in the Kirk Cousins sense but not elite.I for one, believe that with a change regarding the coaching staff, Carr can be pretty darned good. This is where Loomis MUST make the change, immediately.

Technically they don’t have to sell us anything. You will still buy their season tickets. The only effect of the fans is booing. And selling their tickets to the opponents fans. The covid year proved that fans aren’t required. So you can wish, post hate, reach down for stats and reasons why this or that guy sucks, it doesn’t mean anything. Mickey on the air called the saints his team. Not yours or mine. His, or more accurately ”our” meaning Gayle and co. We’re just customers. Did they ask the fans for their input before they pursued Carr? Nope. For the record, I would’ve agreed and still do agree. Hes the only Qb that’s reliable. That I’m not a freaking nervous wreck watching. But I digress. That's why it's important Carr finishes out this season. The FO has to sell the fans hope every year. 2021 it was Jameis. 2022 it was Jameis again because he got hurt in 2021. 2023 it's Carr. If Carr misses the rest of the season I think it could be Carr again because he got hurt. If we play out this thing with DA and Carr and it doesn't work over the next month, they have to come up with something new to sell us.
Nope..You can’t seriously believe this..
Exactly, the fans need to deal with the reality. We’re not cutting Da and getting rid of Carr. Maybe Da if we lose out terribly. But that wont happen. So it’s a moot point. We’re tied to Carr for two more years, and he’s earned it. He’s not playing bad. Period. We have no one else on the roster that is even close to being as consistent as he. YT‘ers are modern day shock jocks, don’t take the bait.Been a member since 2003. We had division when Haslett favored Brooks over Del'homme. That was a genius move that backfired. WHAT???? Quit with the deep dark rabbit hole conspiracies. Just because your mind can think thru the most ridiculous possibility, and it sound a little plausible doesnt make it true. Now Carr is a spoiled child that seeks retribution and attention? LOLOL.Nope..
Dead arse serious, and I really don't care of its popular to say so or not. Drew Brees at 40 years old had a defensive TACKLE land on him, crush his ribs into dust and came back and finished the half...then missed the next 7 games
Derek Carr had a Linebacker tackle him and got a "concussion" and some sore ribs that had them carrying him off the field like his arm was going to fall off. Now 3 days later off 2 days rest he's back out practicing and looks "good"...nah I'm calling shenanigans.
For the "He wouldn't do that crowd"...He wouldn't?!?!?!
Would he throw away a 3rd down pass in minus territory instead of taking an easy first down throw because he had a tantrum? He did it - and told us It's in his personality to do just that. So a game where he's being booed by his home crowd and the (for all intents) QB4 is getting cheered you don't think he'd get in his feels and pull a move - "thatll show them"??? I totally can see it.
It's all good though, and last I checked it's a free country to have free thoughts whether it be popular or not. All imma say on this
