That may be an insult to Babe. This guy and Babe Laufenberg are the two worst QBs Ive ever seen play in the NFL.

There’s Haener’s competition that he should beat out for QB2
I’m thinking we are more interested in Peterman’s brain and voice rather than his arm talent.
A locker room doesn’t need to figure out the Pythagorean theorem.Peterman and Haener scored very will in intelligence coming out of college. Peterman’s wonderlick was 32. Haener was second overall…the scoring system changed.
Carr was average…he scored 20 on the wonderlick.
I agree that we’re in trouble if Peterman is ever starting games for us, but he could improve the discussion level in the QB room and on the sideline and help make the team better that way. Also, cheap which we need to save money for any type of o-line help.
This. Haener is the #2He's a backup QB not a starting QB and we need another arm for camp.
Yea I’m not thinking this guy will generate as much convo as JW did here on Saintsreport. He's a backup QB not a starting QB and we need another arm for camp.

Haener himself sees similarities between himself and Purdy. So I’m sure the new staff are fairly confident in Haeners abilities. It’s two completely different strategies. Signing Flacco says Haener isn’t ready, signing Peterman says he is.
Probably inconsequential, but there’s a clear difference in roster building plans based on signing one or the other.
