I drove by that a few months ago. I think that the cover will be ripped off by wind but debris pushed by water might be the real issue.
Going through the timeline, Perhaps they got him out?
She kinda annoys me at times but even I notice when she "cleans up" and is in a dress! You made me look.
She wasn't even scared standing in front of that wall of water! She's doing her Charlton Heston impersonation from The Ten Commandments.
True. Must have gotten misconstrued but it looks like the cops def. paid him a visit for that reason. It may have happened but I would be surprised if it did. I've never seen people that refused to evacuate being arrested. Normally they just go by several times to tell them there will be no rescue services and ask them to leave, but if they refuse they let them stay. I know there are people who refuse to leave Grand Isle and several other places down in that area.
They will soon learn. Hope they survive! There are hurricane parties going on on you tube right now. Lifelong Florida residents, new Florida residents. They think this is nothing.
Here is one live feed as Milton comes in. Not a party but plenty of camerasI was in one of the hurricane party chats. Got a "I went through Andrew, I'll be fine" tossed at me. Told her this is a different animal from Andrew. Am I right, guys?
Told her I really, really hope I'm wrong. But again reminded that the pressure of this storm got historically low, Andrew's lowest was 922 m. Heck, people don't even talk about Andrew anymore. I even learned from Katrina that you can't ignore the pressure. They will soon learn. Hope they survive!
