Body Cleanse.... do you believe in it? (1 Viewer)

LOL!

Are you going to the bathroom a whole bunch nowwith all that fiber?

No, I'm not actually which is why I was wondering about my intake of fiber.

I do go Number 1 all the time though because of the extra water intake. Although that has calmed down a bit. At first I was running to the bathroom every 20-30 minutes!!

BACK TO THE ORGINIAL THREAD.

My Person Progress Report.

THIRD DAY on the Detox program.... One movement in the morning. Slightly productive. Sorry no scary stuff yet. Everything still a bit clogged.

Understand that Natural Remedies is not a replacement for modern medicine. It is designed to create a natural state of health so you can prevent the need for most medicines.

Fiber doesn't necessarily make a person go more frequently. In fact, It can be constipating if enough fluids aren't present. Varies depending on circumstances.

But typically with diet changes, there is an adjustment period.

LOL at the 30something/20something people with their fiber. Old before your time. ;)

BTW, it is true that doctors spend most of their time in meetings with pharmacutical drug pushers.

How can you say such a thing with any certainty? I'm a medical student, I spend plenty of times with plenty of physicians...and none of my time involves talking to pharm reps. My grandfathers were both physicians, they spent all of their time treating patients... Two of my uncles are physicians, one an othopedist, the other a nephrologist...both treat patients 95% of the time. My father is a gastroenterologist, has been for a really long time. He doesn't spend any time in meeting with pharm reps.

What an idiotic comment...

Define "and ALL that".

Some vaccines probably do work, but what about the vaccines that actually give you the disease?

Since 1979, oral polio vaccinations have given over 200 people the disease. That doesn't sound like a cure to me. Also, in 1986, Congress passed the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act which has, of this point, given out payments to over 2,600 people who's children have died or were seriously injured by the vaccine.

Vaccination DO prevent suffering and help save lives, but the question over long term health consequences still remain.

This, almost word for word statement is from Gary Null's website.

Again, another ridiculous statement. I'm willing to bet your were vaccinated as a child, and I'm willing to bet you didn't contract any of the diseases you were vaccinated against. 200 out of how many hundreds of millions since 1979? Another dumb point.

I guess not. Now all the pills are on TV. They put the reps out of business. LOL :plus-un2:

Good luck Mojoman, but I think it's a fraud. I think I've got a healthy distrust for both herbal/natural treatments and doctors. I'm not one of these people that believes that just because something says it's 100% natural, that it's healthy. Conversely, I don't think doctors are experts just because they've got some certificate on the wall that says they spent alot of time and money in med school. Of course they are necessary for emergencies, surgeries, and routine preventative things (like prescribing my dad's low strength bp med), but they don't know everything either.

I just find it hard to believe that there are people out there with 20lbs of fossilized crap in their system. It seems like the body would have a hard time functioning at all with that much um stuff in the system. I'd say alot of people's bowel problems would just be solved if they worked out regularly, drank their water, and ate half way decent (including fiber from veggies, etc.)

On a side note- I've seen that movie "Fast Food Nation", and I also think that is a fraud. If anyone out there is stupid enough to eat nothing but BAD fast food for 30 days, then they almost deserve to die out of stupidity. You can eat healthy at almost any fast food place nowadays, and often spend less money than you would on the value meal. I go to Wendy's alot, and usually get one or two caesar side salads with low fat ranch, and a Jr Cheeseburger deluxe with no mayo. It's $3, and as healthy as anything I could make at home. Once again, eating at fast food places just take a bit of common sense.

mojo...if you are still "clogged" after the "treatment"....go see a doctor. Seriously, colon cancer will/can give you the clogged feeling. My post earlier got passed over while you guys ran a tangent on the validity of doctors/FDA and how knows what else.

Drink water or clear liquids for 3 days. Then start back on a bland diet. Then gradually add in more fruits and veggies. And while doing that drink ~64 ounces of water a day. You will feel better....I promise you. You will lose wait and the water will help the fiber work correctly. In addition the water will help you pass metals and other "toxins" by simply flushing them out. Of course if your just doing a commercial on here then by all means continue.

An apple a day...... isnt just a saying, it is good for you.

i did this saw an infomercial one night and i am totally for it you will feel so much better after you do it

Actually, if you study the program, it's more than an apple a day and designed to really help your system. It is loaded with things that are good for you. Too many people look at a few pictures and draw immediate conclusions without all of the facts. I read almost the entire site before ordering and talked to other people that did cleanses. All of them had only good things to say.

Recently I took some serious antibiotics which kills the good and the bad bacteria. It destroys your intestinal flora. This can constipate you to no end as a Candida yeast overgrowth can change your bowel movement.

After doing much research on the matter, I decided to do this total body cleanse. This doesn't just do a colon cleanse as so many do. If I wanted to just Pooh there are other ways to achieve relief. But this cleanse also cleans the liver, kidneys, get rid of parasites and has supplements that restore the good bacteria to your intestines.

I find that most of the people on this site just love to criticize and haven't really looked at the entire cleanse and all of the ingredients.

I doubt I have cancer. I don't understand how this could possibly be bad for me. Thanks anyway for looking out for me.

In other words, having Candida present in your intestines is perfectly normal.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry at those who would rather take FDA approved drugs that don't cure anything. Is there an FDA approved drug that CURES anything?

Many drugs are not designed to cure but only to treat sysptoms.

I don't buy the over the counter stuff you can buy at Target or Wal mart. I go to China Town to a great guy on Mott St that hooks me up.

Hopsing may be able to help your eat correctly so you don't develop a condition. He can't hurt. If you have a serious condition, modern medicine can certainly help.

The idea that there is a product on the market that helps detoxify you is a bit misleading. First of all, to treat yourself in the best way possible is to have a doctor check your constitutional. Everybody is different and therefor, the "formula" is different for everyone.

Are you saying Vitamins and trace minerals can't help you? Doctors cannot prescribe these because FOOD CANNOT BE PRESCRIBED BECAUSE IT IS NOT A DRUG.

The guy I go to in China Town checks my constitutional everytime and mixes the herbs, berries and stuff accordingly to what is actually wrong with me. Too bad he doesn't have a mental one.

Much of which has hunderds of years of usage in China with great results but doesn't work on Americans. Might be great to supplement the things missing in our American Diet.

To truely detox isn't just to poop. The toxins in your body also need to be released. On top of that, the tea that he mixes for you also helps your body process and discard toxins in the future. AND, they taste great.

Teas have there place. You are what you eat. Eat enough toxins and die.

Keep goin MoJoMan, I appreciate that there are some who don't trust the system and look for alternate ways to achieve a healthy body instead of taking petroleum laced pills that are filled with toxins.

Do you have studies to support your conclusions.

BTW, it is true that doctors spend most of their time in meetings with pharmacutical drug pushers.

They certainly learn what the drugs do some kind of way.

Would you suggest that eating only organic food is bad for you or are you confused on that matter too? Hopsing would almost certainly agree.

MoJoMan

How do I break this to you...very few Americans have parasites that will be killed off by this stuff. Teh cure for parasites is usually a toxin..."kill the worm not the host." IF you have non-intestianal parasites...it wont remove them via your intestines and if it did kill them you could go into toxic shock from having them all die and rupture...( mmm yummy) Seriously man...the American food supply has very little parasites even Trichinosis is rare.

Cleansing your kidneys...why? they dont collect ANY toxins. Normal flushing removes them..drink water. The metal binding proteins(metalothionin) grab the metals and then push them out your urine. Man a little biology work would do you some good since your research is lacking in anything remotely scientific. You seemed to have stayed with the websites selling this stuff as your sources.

Seriously...you are more and more sounding like a used colon cleaner salesman....OR you are trying to convince yourself that you arent crazy. To refresh your bacteria..all you had to do is gag down a serving of yogurt everyday for a week and then another weeks worth about 2 weeks later.

Why waste your money on a gimic? Why screw around with your body because some slick website has you convinced. I agree that Americans are over medicated but at the same token...they are undereducated on their bodies.
