Why does Rizzi being a ST guy know who is best to have in place?? We have no clue about Rizzi's talent evaluation skills. He's never been a NFL or major college OC or DC. All we know about him is he's a very good ST coach and ST players are made up of position players already on the teamI agree, he has to have good coordinators around him to be successful. KK doesn't strike me as a HC so I think we'll be able to keep the offensive staff in place for at least next season, maybe longer. Rizzi being a ST guy will know who's the best to have in place, it could be someone he's already brought in to continue their development or an up and comer. DC is the wildcard since that was DA's side and he built that defense. I like the changes Woods has done already, but who knows what happens there.
Offense yes, defense I'm not sureI think you just stick with Rizzi if you want to keep the entire coaching staff.
Almost all interim HC shake things up, they have toRizzi didn't just leave things status quo.
Who knows why he hasn't been hired as a HC yet, but he's getting his chance to show what he's got right now and it's working.

Can anyone name a head coach that was fired, then worked as a coordinator for some time before returning as a head coach that had real success the second time around? I'm not making a point here... I just can't think of any.
Like I've said , I do like Rizzi. It's just there is nothing to go on to tell if he knows the offensive or defensive side of the ball well enough to be an NFL HC, at least with a successful OC or DC you know that they know 1 of the 2 most important aspects of football.Neither was John Harbaugh. There are many different ways to skin the cat.
Lots of guys that have been NFL or major college OCs or DCs have failed. There is no one size fits all solution.
You vet out the best guy for your team through the interviews, not just the black and white past job titles, especially when talking about a coach that’s been in the league this long and also seems to always get instantly promoted to Assistant HC/Associate HC at his stops and players seem to look at as a HC type figure.
Today's Miami game highlighted everything. He couldn't make Tua work. Other than concussions, Tua has been playing well since McDaniels took over.Flores would be a terrible hire and I'm tired of people only looking through the lens of head coach on their ability to call a defense or offense. As good he is at managing a defense. He's equally terrible at managing an offense just like Dennis.
You're just getting a better Dennis Allen.
Flores personality is nowhere near DA's.I want a coach who the players respond to. They didn't respond to DA who has a very similar personality to Flores. Reid is the best in the game, who wouldn't want that? The Steelers have a system that allows them to develop/keep talent which we have tried to emulate, but chasing another ring in the twilight of Brees' career derailed that. There has been times fans have wanted Tomlin fired so he's not untouchable. He coaches for a team that is loyal to their coaches which goes with their system.
I guess you don't want a coach the players respond to since you're hell bent on replacing Rizzi.
