The timing doesn't seem particularly helpful; days after the conclusion of the current election cycle and more than a year from when the next cycle will start cranking up again. The people who will praise this development, and the ones who will berate it, are pretty much set in stone at this point.

I don't want to get into total specifics here... But She checks all the political boxes for the current administration's identity based approach to garnering votes. The timing is irrelevant. The optics are relevant... and it's dumb. She was only targeted for release (and capture for that matter) because of who she is, and what she represents to the current political identity in power... If she was the opposite of who she was... She'd still be in a Russian jail...

And don't get me wrong... I am glad we have one less American in a Russian Jail, but what we gave up and why we gave it up... Is everything that's wrong with politics in this country.

Making $214/k a year isnt rich. that was my entire point. Is she "rich" because of her endorsements, playing overseas for $1,000,000 a year, maybe so. But when you factor in travel, room and board ( she pays for ) and then the taxes levied on that income, that aint what i deem "rich".

Wasn't he on his last leg of health, and suffering from COVID (which is sadly a political tool too)... and swapped for a notorious Drug smuggler? Yeah, didn't care for that one either... but again... glad he's home. "He was also photographed in uniform with Obama before being honorably discharged."
