I’ll never forget my first time at Buc-ees. It was a magical experience for sure.

I was ecstatic when I heard we were getting one in BR. But of course, Louisiana can never have nice things (except for the Saints).

I was about to say that I've stopped in a couple times and I don't see the big deal.

But this write-up makes me think I need to look a little closer the next time. It probably has something to do with not wanting to spend too much time there when my trip has either just started or almost finished. I refuse to make it my actual destination but I need to give it another chance to impress.

Beef Jerkey is decent, but a tad overpriced.

Yeah, that's about right. The key is to get it from the counter and not the presealed/preweighed bags.

I enjoy their trail mix, especially the southwest and sweet/savory flavors. Also the fine selection of nuts, both chocolate covered and freshly roasted.

Where a bathroom stop will cost you $100.
The service is pretty good. But i think their sign says they starting pay is $16, which is why.
