We did that when I was a kid -- also had peanut butter and honey sandwiches. Good stuff.I grew up using pure honey on pancakes, which to me is 1000% better. I don't remember even seeing maple syrup in a supermarket in my hometown until around the late 80's? We got honey from a stand in the "big market" (that's what the old market in the center of the city is called), from a guy who bottled his own stuff, not even a label on the bottle.
My husband actually likes that stuff on his pancakes. Then there's a lady that works for me, who told me that her parents always bought Karo corn syrup to put on pancakes (and not the dark kind but the clear one).
I was sooooooo wrong about you....Karo is the bomb.
may we have a pizza topping showdown too?If I ever win the lottery, I'm throwing a pancake breakfast for all of you just to watch the throwdown over the disparate syrup choices.
If you hug the tree a little tighter, it will help the tree to recover emotionally.Maple syrup is completely unremarkable and not really worth repeatedly wounding trees over.
NO, we may not. Pineapple on pizza is disgusting and should result in a lengthy prison sentence. End of story.may we have a pizza topping showdown too?
