I think if you asked his family if they’d rather have him healthy or have more money, they’d pick him. You can always make more money, but you can’t replace a lost family member. I may be biased because I never got to have a relationship with my father and I wish I could have.

This is the right move 100%. There is zero reason to rush the guy back. The bigger question is whether he can come back and remain healthy enough to establish himself as a legit WR1. I personally have major reservations there, but I wish the best for Chris.
