Closer look at Kellen Moore in the NFCCG today (4 Viewers)

Revisiting this statement from 2022...

This would be my first, second, and third choice. Kellen Moore running the offense with a strong DC (this is where Flores can come in) and I think we have a team that can make some serious noise.

He has a great offensive mind and can adapt based on personnel. Get him a strong DC and we built the trenches and I think he is a great fit.

He would be the new youngest hc in the league, at 36. Just an FYI

Yep...If it is truly between McCarthy and Moore, then it's all just going to come down to philosophical direction.

How are we supposed to build being $50 million over cap this year and once we get under cap. Be over 2026 cap too.

This is an entirely unique position that any NFL team has been in... And frankly... You don't have 5 years to rebuild the team and then go for a franchise QB.

This is an entirely unique position that loomis single handedly put the next coach in. He should not be in the draft room at this point or even a GM, but we know that isn’t going to happen. They should find a partner to trade down, let the new coach see if he wants to do with the o and d line. When players leave the saints, the become pro bowl players, he may see something in them to keep.

This is huge, part and parcel of being able to maximize a team's talent game to game. Sometimes injury, sometimes circumstance, but a team is not always going to have their very best 11 available every game (as Saints fans well know).

Fully agree on trading down. Preferably to a team with multiple 2nds and 3rds. There might be more value there than at 9 and if we can get several picks that would go a long way to building the roster on the cheap.
