Was a good comic book day yesterday. The Traveling Comic Book Store came through and I had always meant to go check it out. It's nothing huge, but in one of the meeting rooms of a local hotel, they had some $1, $2, and other long boxes, plus a variety of other stuff. I was able to find a few things (top row of the picture). Still building my X-Men run and I loved the covers on those Superman books, especially the green one.

Bottom row were from my LCS. Got the X-Men #1-19 covered now with that book. Love the Secret Wars II cover. The other two are new books from this week.

Anybody else pick up fun stuff lately?

Nice haul. I still remember the exact place I purchased that specific Phalanx Covenant issue of X-Men back in the day.

I'm in money saving mode because of back to back cons at the end of May, so no real purchases for me. Hoping this one vendorI scored a ton of X-Men issues for a crazy good price is back at Fan Expo Dallas this year. That was a great haul for a reasonable amount.

I'm saying yes.

And I think at lot of artists are publicly speaking out against it but using it on the down low.

Yeah. It is. My other comic friends are constantly reminding me that I am enjoying a Scott Snyder written title.

Damn. Jim Shooter is really getting up there. I know he just got over an illness. Hopes he's doing better.
