Unlike before where there were a few isolated carriers which meant a relatively slow ramp up you now have enough positive people in every community in the us so that when states are liberated, that well seeded Covid-19 is going to frigging blow up quick. Possibly. But, I also think it's possible that there are enough people taking this seriously that the next spikes in cases will be a bit more manageable than before this thing started. At least I hope that can soften the blow from future spikes.

As it usually goes with these things those that want to agree with them will and will assign nefarious motives to YouTube removing the video. That’s the way it goes and why it’s better to just leave the content alone. You aren’t stopping anything, you’re just making them martyrs.

Has YouTube said why they took it down? I mean, they are a private company so as far as I'm concerned they can take down whatever they want but I'm curious if they have given a reason. Is it because they think it's an Ad? Some rule against certain content?

I guess I'll just continue to distance and stay home mostly. Those so confident this is nothing can go out and be the guinea pigs.

Sadly it'll impact many innocents and they likely won't take responsibility for their actions, but at least the lesson will be taught even if not learned.

It's interesting how different it is where I go in South Florida. I've been to two different Targets (just came back from one today), one gas station multiple times, outside costco for gas, work, and my grocery store.

Now, we have a mask order, as far as I know, so I see almost everyone in a mask of some sort. Costco gas was the exception, but everyone is outside a good distance away. Even there, a few were wearing them still. I saw a mom with two girls, the youngest was around 10-12. Both girls were wearing masks. the only thing I do notice is that far too many people have the knock off N95 masks for China (might be legit, but you know), and a lot of them don't fit right. I'm not talking the ticky tack fit issues an instructor would have, like not being clean shaven, or a bit off. I mean people with their noses out, or ones where they are actually too big for their face, so under their mouth isn't sealed. I can see too much of their chin. This is where I feel like surgical masks or cloth DIY masks are superior. They're not as good of a filter, but they usually fit better. Good thing we're not in such a highly concentrated environment like a doctor or nurse.

So, I'm encouraged about our locale, but it really does reinforce the importance of consistent and clear messaging to reach folks. I also joined a Florida Unemployment Facebook group (may not stick around), just to get a boots on the ground look at who's having issues, who's finding success. Man, a bunch of folks are ignorant on there. Not in the bad way, but wow. An Average IQ feels so low...so, so, low...

But, folks are mostly wearing masks, keeping away, and hopefully washing their hands more.

I saw a nice looking older lady, on the National news, at the airport, about to get on a flight. She said, “oh, nobody is sick on this plane, so we will be fine.” ???😳😳!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. no mask in sight, either ?????!!!!

Then I saw a nice looking young guy on the National news, sitting in the barbershop, no mask on, getting a mop chop. He said, “oh, I am not in the high risk group, so I will be fine.”

Then I was out walking a pup, and I saw a beautiful little girl with her dad, out taking an evening walk. They bought had masks on.
And all I kept thinking was, “superchuck (I think it was), said, “masks on kids are not good, because it affects their oxygen levels, masks on kids are not good because it affects their oxygen levels......”

Oh Lord, help us get this monster contained. 🙏🏻 😡😡😡

No they haven’t, but I know the health department issued a statement saying they didn’t agree with some of the things the doctors said they agreed with them on and had a different take on the conversation the doctors had with their director. I know YouTube has a policy against leaving up videos with Corvid misinformation, so I’ll assume they felt it fell within that category.

Most of those decisions are made by algorithms, so the reason YouTube hasn’t responded to requests for comments is they are probably figuring out why it was removed themselves.

For sure. Drove to CO Springs with family and stayed one night in Amarillo, TX. Next day was there. Used hotel points too.

The C.E.O of youtube recently had an interview with one of the networks that said any video on youtube that goes against the W.H.O will be removed from the platform.

You know, because the W.H.O has literally been wrong in almost every facet of this pandemic should maintain any credibility.

From an interview with YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki : "Of course, anything that is medically unsubstantiated - so people saying like 'take vitamin C, take turmeric, we’ll cure you' - those are examples of things that would be a violation of our policy. Anything that would go against World Health Organization recommendations would be a violation of our policy."

I had an antibody test at Quest on Monday. Came back negative for antibodies. I'm in IT with a large physician practice and am in either West Jeff, EJ, or Ochsner Baptist daily - sometimes all 3. I haven't missed a day of work this year. I thought for sure I had come in contact with this virus. Hopefully it was a false negative. Not that having antibodies would mean that I'm immune for certain, but I really hoped I had antibodies.
